ABSTRACT SUBMISSION_Vilnius Breast Meeting (VBM2026)
Dear Participants,
We are pleased to announce that abstract submission for the Vilnius Breast Meeting (VBM2026) is now OPEN!
We warmly encourage you to take an active role in shaping the scientific programme of the meeting. If you wish to deliver a lecture, present a scientific report, or share the latest developments in your field of expertise, please submit your proposed theme and a brief summary in the form of absctract. The final programme will be adjusted based on your proposals.
Abstract Submission Requirements
Free Poster Session
Abstracts submitted to the Free Poster Session must comply with the following requirements.
1. Language and File Format
All abstracts must be written in English and submitted in Microsoft Word format.
2. Title
– The title must be concise and informative.
– It should be centered at the top of the page.
– Font: Arial, 14 pt, bold.
3. Authors
– Full names of all authors must be listed.
– The presenting author should be included in the author list.
– Font: Arial, 12 pt, bold, centered.
4. Institution
– Institutional affiliation(s) must be stated below the authors’ names.
– Font: Arial, 10 pt, centered.
5. Abstract Body
– Maximum length: 300 words.
– Font: Arial, 10 pt.
– Text must be fully justified.
– No blank lines between paragraphs.
– Page margins must be set to 2.5 cm on all sides.
6. References
– A maximum of five references is permitted.
– References must be cited in the text using Arabic numerals in square brackets [1].
– The reference list should appear at the end of the abstract.
7. Formatting Rules
– Do not include headings, footnotes, tables, or figures unless explicitly permitted.
– Only standard text formatting should be used.
8. Topic Categories
Abstracts should be submitted under one of the following categories:
– Breast Radiology
– Oncoplastic Breast Surgery
– Breast Reconstruction
– Minimally Invasive Breast Surgery
– Aesthetic Breast Surgery
– Breast Cancer Awareness
9. Presentation Format
Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to present their work during the Free Paper Session. Each presentation will consist of 5 minutes for oral presentation followed by 2 minutes for discussion.
10. Deadlines
– Abstract submission deadline: 8 April 2026
– Notification of acceptance: 20 April 2026
