Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 14th European Conference on Atoms Molecules and Photons (ECAMP14) in Vilnius, Lithuania, June 27- July 1, 2022. The conference will start with on-site registration and a welcome reception on Sunday evening, June 26, 2022. The scientific program will be opened on Monday morning, June 27, 2022, and will finish with a closing session on Friday afternoon, July 1, 2022.

At this moment ECAMP14 is planned as a fully on-site conference. This will facilitate further scientific and interpersonal exchange after a long pandemic related interruption. Therefore we have currently no plans to implement an online or hybrid format. The experience of the years 2020 and 2021 suggests seasonal fluctuations of the pandemic in Europe, the time of our conference at the beginning of the Summer being the most favourable time of the year. We do hope the pandemic situation will allow us to realize our ambitious goal of a truly in-person meeting in June-July 2022.

ECAMP is a tri-annual conference series; it is the official conference organized by the Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics Division (AMOPD) of the European Physical Society (EPS). It started in 1982 and recent editions took place in Salamanca, Spain 2010, Aarhus, Denmark 2013, Frankfurt, Germany 2016, and Florence, Italy 2019. The International Scientific Programme Committee consists of the board of the Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics Division (AMOPD) of the European Physical Society (EPS). ECAMP typically attracts 400 -700 participants.

ECAMP14 will take place  at the hotel Radisson Blu Lietuva situated in downtown of Vilnius, Lithuania. Vilnius is the Capital of Lithuania known for its Baroque architecture, seen especially in its medieval Old Town which is included to the World Heritage List of UNESCO. The Vilnius University, one of the oldest and most famous institutions of higher education in Eastern and Central Europe, was founded in 1579. Vilnius is known for its cutting edge research in the field of atomic, molecular and laser physics carried out at the Vilnius University and a number of other institutions, thus offering an ideal scientific environment for a major conference in the AMO field such as ECAMP.
